Cake Pop Dough

If you're looking to make cake pops or cake clay, this is the perfect recipe to do that.

Prep Time 10 minutes
Total Time 5 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 8" cake or cake scraps, any cake flavor
  • 1/4 cup buttercream can also use swiss meringue, American buttercream or ganache

Instructions

  1. With gloved hands, crumble cake into a bowl.

  2. Add buttercream.

  3. Combine together with hands until cohesive mixture forms.

Recipe Notes

If mixture is too dry, add more buttercream. Can be used for cake pop dough or small portions of sculpted cakes.

For firmer dough, use ganache.
