If you could see anxiety, what would it look like? Liz shows us with her incredible piece for the Unseen Battles Collaboration depicting "Anxiety". This collaboration was very powerful in it's message and is full of incredible pieces showing the different struggles people deal with on a daily basis that no one sees or knows about. Here's what Liz had to say about her piece.

"I would like to introduce you to a very personal piece created for the Unseen Battles Collaboration that highlights illness that we don't really talk about in order to help people better understand.

Anxiety Sugar Sculpture Liz Marek

This is my piece based on anxiety which I never really thought was a serious thing until I tried to get pregnant and had to be put on medication to get it under control.

Learning more about anxiety has taught me more about myself and connected deeply with others who suffer with anxiety/depression.

Please click through to the page and check out the other wonderful pieces full of heart and emotion! Thank you Erin Schwartz for including me in this unique and emotional collaboration.

HUGE thank you to HotHands for providing the modeling chocolate for this piece! It's like working with a beautiful, smooth clay that happens to be chocolate. I love it!"

Liz also put together a video timelapse of this piece with a powerful message.

Everyone you meet is fighting a battle you know nothing about. This collaboration hit home for me on multiple levels as I am sure it did many.

Spreading awareness through sugar art is one of the most amazing things we can do. It's a special opportunity we should definitely take advantage of. Bravo to everyone who participated in this collaboration to help spread awareness about some of the unseen battles of the world.
