Avocado Crema

This avocado crema is my go-to for steak salad dressing, tacos, nachos, and more. It's so versatile and has the perfect amount of spice and zip. Best part? It only takes 10 minutes to make! Just blend it all together and go!

Since I've been keto again, I've been looking for ways to add fat to my salads and this is the perfect way. The sour cream, mayonnaise, and avocado add much needed fat to my steak salads or steak tacos to make this the perfect keto salad dressing.

Ingredients

Because I follow the keto diet and my boyfriend does carnivore(ish), we like to keep our ingredients pretty clean with no sugar. We also stay away from seed oils so I like to use avocado mayo from primal kitchen or you can make your own mayo.

I prefer to use sour cream for my crema but some recipes call for greek yogurt which also works really well!

Depending on how big your avocado is, you might want to thin your avocado crema out with some extra lime juice, milk, or water.

How To Make The Dressing

This recipe could not be easier. Just add all your ingredients to the blender and you're done! You can adjust the spice level to your preference. I like a little spice myself!

If your crema is too thick you can add in more lime juice, milk or water to thin it out. I usually add more lime juice because I love that zesty kick!

I'm using my ninja blender to make my dressing because it chops everything up super fine and makes this cilantro lime dressing ULTRA creamy but any kind of blender will do. Heck, you can even mix by hand if you needed to. Just chop up the cilantro and garlic first and add it in with everything else and mix.
