How to toast coconut flakes

  1. Preheat your oven to 350ºF

  2. Spread coconut flakes onto a sheet pat evenly

  3. Bake coconut for 2-3 minutes until edges just begin to turn golden brown

  4. Stir coconut and then bake for 1-2 more minutes or until golden brown. Do not walk away or forget to set the timer or the coconut can burn.

  5. Store coconut in an airtight container for 2-3 weeks in the fridge or freeze for 6 months.
