Wafer Paper Flowers? We’ve Got You Covered

Wafer paper is one of those things for a caker that may be intimidating at first but once you try it you can’t wait to see what else you can do with it. Flowers are probably the most common application of wafer paper on cakes and there are SO many types of flowers to be made! Today, for your viewing pleasure, I have put together a convenient list right here of 10 amazing FREE wafer paper flower tutorials that will up your caking game.

When you go to YouTube and type in “Wafer Paper Flower Tutorial” the very first episode of The Sugar Geeks (yes, it had an s back then) Show pops up at the top of the list. With almost 170,000 views it is one of the most popular wafer paper flower tutorials on YouTube so yeah, we kind of have to add it to this list, not to mention we are proud of it! It’s the first episode! And if you haven’t seen the first episode of The Sugar Geek Show, can you truly call yourself a Sugar Geek? I’ll leave that up to you and your conscience but in case it needs clearing, here is the episode right here, all you have to do is click play and redeem yourself.

#5 is a fantastic Wafer Paper Poppy Tutorial from Creative Cakes by Sharon. Love the deep contrast of the red and black! Another simple flower that packs a powerful punch.

#8 is not one you see every day and I love that! The lovely Nisha Fernando of Sweet Delights Cakery shows us how to make some Wafer Paper Stephanotis, what a perfect filler to go with your other wafer paper flowers!

#10 is truly magnificent and another one you don’t see that often. It’s a Wafer Paper Magnolia demonstrated by Blissfully Sweet, and one I am definitely going to try in the near future!
